About Pandabiru

Hi, I’m Erfan, but most people call me Epan. Say it fast enough and you get pan, add a da, and there’s your panda. Biru because I just really like blue. That’s the whole story, tak ada deep meaning pun.

By day I build websites and lead a tech team in Cyberjaya. By evening (and some very early mornings), I take photos.

I used to post photos regularly on an old blog, back when uploading one photo meant waiting a while for it to finish (yes, it was that old and that slow). Then work got busy, family happened, kids came along, the camera masuk laci, and the years went by the way they do.

Pandabiru is me rekindling that. No algorithm, no likes, no pressure. Just one photo at a time, a few words about the moment, and the camera settings for anyone yang curious.

Most of it is street, everyday life and the occasional landscape. Things I walk past and want to remember.

Gear: my trusty Nikon D700, still going strong after all these years, and an iPhone 16 Pro for when it’s the only camera I have with me. Next on the list is a Sony A6400, if I can manage to save up. Haha.
